As a church planter, Malawian Harold Nkunika possesses many gifts and talents. Beside speaking sixteen languages, Pastor Harold conducts training and outreach programs to empower pastors and church leaders in rural settings, trains young people in evangelism and leadership development skills, and reaches children effectively with the gospel using the Wordless Book and other supporting tools.
He ensures the disabled (lame, blind, and aged) who can't come to church are served and taken care of properly. He and his wife, Modester, have developed entrepreneurship in people with limited education in skills like soap making, bee keeping, and coffee growing techniques. He cares for the orphans by giving seedlings to schools enabling them the ability to have a productive agriculture program whereby they can assist in their well-being.
For the past six years, Harold has modeled a servant's heart as he prepares the way for us to visit a multitude of schools and villages sharing the gospel. When we continue on our way, he plants churches in those villages aiding in the actual building process.
This year he and a team have traveled to western Tanzania, northern and central Malawi training more than 400 to evangelize and disciple others.
